Content creators can earn money on TikTok in a variety of ways. Therefore, because of the opportunity to easily create and exchange small videos, many people have become stars as well as earning money by posting Tiktok videos. TikTok has been encouraging creators to create large-scale videos for quite some time now.
This Chinese video sharing network has officially launched the 'Creator Rewards Program' program for large-scale video creators. Content creators can earn more by creating videos longer than one minute under the new initiative.
According to TikTok, select video creators in several countries, including the United States, have already earned income by creating large-scale videos under the Creator Rewards program on an experimental basis. In the last six months, the income of selected video creators through this program has increased up to 250 times compared to before.
Video must be of high resolution to earn through TikTok's Creator Rewards program. Also, the creators will get money based on the number of viewers of the video or how many viewers have searched for the video. As a result, the amount of income will be more or less.
Content creators have long been unhappy with the lack of revenue through the Creators Fund, launched in 2020. As a result, TikTok stopped this program called 'Creator Fund' last November. However, it is believed that as a result of this new initiative, besides increasing the number of large videos on TikTok, the creators will be able to earn more than the current one.
